The Kulka Group served as construction manager for Amneal Pharmaceuticals’ major expansion at 50 Horseblock Road in Yaphank, NY. This $150 million project transformed the site into a state-of-the-art pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution campus, significantly enhancing Amneal’s production capabilities and regional presence.​

The development included the expansion of an existing 121,000-square-foot facility to 265,000 square feet and the construction of a new 35,000-square-foot building dedicated to research and development on hormonal drugs. The upgraded campus features GMP-compliant clean rooms, quality control laboratories, advanced automation systems, and robust utility infrastructure, all designed to meet stringent FDA and industry standards.​

Kulka managed all phases of the project—from preconstruction through commissioning—ensuring strict adherence to compliance standards and operational performance. The expansion consolidated Amneal’s operations from other Long Island locations and facilitated the transfer of some manufacturing activities from its California facilities. This strategic move not only streamlined operations but also created approximately 400 new jobs, making the Yaphank campus one of the most advanced pharmaceutical production sites in the region.​
