The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Long Island has recently welcomed three new members to their Board of Trustees, marking an important milestone in their mission to find cures for blood cancers. Marc Braunstein, MD, PhD, from NYU Winthrop Hospital; Oscar Lahoud, MD, from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center; and Devin Kulka from the Kulka Group have all joined the Board of Trustees, bringing with them a wealth of knowledge and experience.

The addition of these three community leaders to the Board of Trustees is a testament to the dedication and commitment of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Long Island to finding cures for blood cancers. As Sara Lipsky, the Executive Director of the Long Island Chapter, notes, it is only through the tireless efforts of volunteers that the organization is able to advance its mission.

Braunstein, Lahoud, and Kulka all have a deep understanding of the impact that blood cancers have on patients and their families. They are committed to advancing research and finding new treatments that can help improve patient outcomes and ultimately lead to a cure.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Long Island is grateful for the addition of these community leaders to their Board of Trustees and looks forward to working with them to advance their mission. Together, they will continue to make strides towards a world without blood cancers.

The commitment and dedication of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Long Island's volunteers, like Braunstein, Lahoud, and Kulka, are truly inspiring. Through their efforts, they bring hope to patients and their families and continue to make progress towards finding a cure for blood cancers.
