Leadership Beyond the Office
At Kulka, leadership shows up in many ways. Often, it happens beyond the jobsite or office through the time, care, and commitment our people give to causes that truly matter.
Today, we want to say thank you to our Office Manager and Executive Assistant, Gina Bocci, who has been named to Blood Cancer United’s 2026 Light The Night Long Island Executive Committee. This marks Gina’s first year serving in this role and is a meaningful recognition of the leadership she has already shown in advancing the fight against blood cancer.
The Impact of Light The Night
Light The Night is Blood Cancer United’s flagship fundraising event that brings together survivors, families, caregivers, and supporters to raise critical funds for blood cancer research, patient services, and advocacy. On Long Island and across the country, these events unite thousands of people around a shared goal of improving outcomes and supporting families impacted by blood cancer.
The impact of Light The Night is significant. Across the country, the campaign has raised hundreds of millions of dollars, helping fund research that has led to major advances in treatment and improved survival rates over the past several decades. These efforts also provide education, financial assistance, and support resources for patients and families during some of the most challenging moments of their lives.
Gina’s Role in Light the Night & Kulka Fights Cancer
Over the past two years, Gina has been at the heart of Kulka Fights Cancer, leading our fundraising and engagement efforts with consistency, care, and purpose. She played a central role in organizing and executing Kulka’s Party at the Top events in 2024 and 2025, helping raise more than $80,000 in support of blood cancer research. Her ability to bring people together around the mission has strengthened Kulka’s involvement in the Long Island Light The Night community and expanded the reach of our collective impact.
Kulka’s commitment to this cause is part of who we are as a company. Through years of involvement, Kulka has generated more than three million dollars in total impact in support of Blood Cancer United’s mission, reflecting a culture that values leadership, service, and showing up for the community.
In 2026, Gina will be joined on the Light The Night Long Island Executive Committee by Kulka Partner and Chief Operating Officer Rob Mannino, who will be serving for his third year. Together, they will support continued awareness and growth for the Light The Night effort on Long Island.
Gina’s appointment is a reflection of the leadership she brings to Kulka every day. We are grateful for her commitment to this mission and proud of the way she represents our team beyond the work we build.
Thank you, Gina, for leading with purpose and helping light the way in the fight against blood cancer.
